Shreveport Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect who robbed a downtown bank in Shreveport early Monday morning.

The robbery took place at Red River Bank located on the 600 block of Market Street. At around 8:30 a.m., the police received a call regarding the robbery.

According to the reports, a Black male wearing a green shirt entered the bank and demanded money while holding a weapon. He managed to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is believed to have a noticeable left eye deformity.
