Would you say you’re a good liar. More than one in four Americans say YES.
Someone polled over 5,000 people across the U.S. and asked them to rate how good of a liar they are.
28% said they’re good or excellent at lying to people, and another 23% said they’re a decent liar. So that’s 51% of the vote.
Only 38% said they’re bad or very bad at lying, and 11% weren’t sure if they’re a good liar or not.
Young people were much more likely to THINK they’re a good liar. 13% of people under 30 said they’re an “excellent” liar, compared to just 2% of seniors.
The poll also found three in four people think they’re pretty good at SPOTTING a liar, and can usually tell if someone’s lying to them.
