I was talking to a friend yesterday and told him I was I the mood for some Beef stew because it was about that time of year and he said. “Yeah some Gumbo sounds nice too!!!” I said you can eat Gumbo anytime of year but Beef stew if for fall and winter!!! He said Gumbo was for fall or winter!!! We ended up discussing this for about 30 mins (yes we were having cocktails so this 5 min convo got a lil long) until we finally agreed we really didn’t care cause we liked them both.
