The other day I went to the mailbox and this was waiting for me!!! The day I saw George Floyd murdered I was angry, mad, upset and ready to scream!!! I didn’t know what to do!!! I’ve always been the type of personality that wanted to remain unattached to any organization so that I would be able to work with any and all but on that day I had to do something. This was it for me. It made me feel that now even I have a bigger voice, a voice that could be heard with thousands of others.On the back of the card is the NAACP Mission Statement and it reads; The Mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. This is something I can stand with, this is the change that I want to see in the world.
