Former Benton standout Emily Ward is the only LSU Tiger who has spent for years in Baton Rouge. This season she was voted captain an now she’s going to the final four.

“Just the chance to play under Kim Mulkey is unbelievable, and and to do it in the state of Louisiana at LSU just it’s just amazing. I don’t think it can get any better than that,” Ward said. Our news partners at KTAL-TV added that with the Final Four taking place in Dallas, near Shreveport, Ward added “Our family’s already got tickets were already there!”
