Spoiler alert: Shreveport ain’t on this list.
I didn’t need Zillow to exclude Shreveport from their list to know Shreveport wouldn’t sniff the top-10. I’ve been single for quite a while now and I can tell you with complete certainty that the dating scene in Shreveport is more like a disaster area. Unluckily for me, I’m pretty rooted here, but if you’re single in our area and you’re looking for better options, Zillow has put together their certified top-10 cities in America for singles to move to.
Granted, they looked at it a little deeper than I did initially. While I’m looking purely at options, Zillow took in quite a few factors to come up with their final list. Some of those factors include number of singles, housing market, and quantity of quality apartments to rent.
When everything got boiled down, our neighbors in Texas landed four of the top-10 spots. Here’s what their list looks like, with a surprise (to me, anyway) at number one.
1. Wichita, Kansas.
2. Austin, Texas.
3. Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
4. Denver, Colorado.
5. San Antonio, Texas.
6. Houston, Texas.
7. Dallas, Texas.
8. Seattle, Washington,
9. Washington, D.C.
10. Boston, Massachusetts
