We usually see this type of thing around Halloween, but early March works too, I guess.
Someone polled a bunch of people to find out how many Americans believe in the SUPERNATURAL. And the short answer is . . . a lot.
They asked about five different supernatural things: Ghosts, demons, werewolves, vampires, and psychic abilities. Here’s what people said for each one . . .
1. Ghosts . . . 36% think they’re real. That includes 28% of men and 44% of women.
2. Demons . . . 37% said yes. Again, women were more likely to believe they’re real.
3. Werewolves . . . 7% think they’re real. It’s the first one where men are more likely to say yes. 8% of guys think werewolves exist, compared to 5% of women.
4. Vampires . . . also 7%. Only 4% of women said yes, compared to 11% of men. (If you’re talking about “energy vampires“, I agree.)
5. Psychics . . . 37% think they’re legit. 46% of women and 28% of men.
